For postdoc positions, experience in at least one of the following fields is preferred:

  • Protein design and engineering

  • Optical microscopy and imaging

  • Molecular biology and cell culture

  • Cellular and molecular neuroscience

  • Animal research, behavioral and systems neuroscience

  • Immunohistochemistry

  • Electrophysiology

  • Computational modeling and signal analysis

Prospective graduate students for 2023 and onwards are encouraged to apply to the graduate program, Program in Biomedical Sciences (PIBS), at the University of Michigan. Please select Cell & Developmental Biology as the preferred program when applying to PIBS. We also accept students in other graduate programs at the University of Michigan, such as the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Program and the Neuroscience Graduate Program.
